Torreira is part of the seaside from S. Jacinto to Furadouro, in about 25Km extension. Placed between the Sea and the "Ria", 10Km away by road of Murtosa, is a place of beautifull landscapes.

The main access is by road, being the nearest train stations in Estarreja and Ovar, 17Km and 18Km away, respectively. There are daily connexions by bus to Murtosa and Estarreja. There you can get a train or vice-versa. During the Summer there are more frequent connexions. The company which ensures the transport of passengers is "Autoviação da Murtosa". There are connections with Ovar and S. Jacinto during school time and regular boats linking S. Jacinto and Forte da Barra.
